Vete-Katten was founded back in 1928 by a very ambitious woman named Esther Nordhammar. At the time, few businesses were run by women, and even fewer patisseries. Ester, who was 42 years old, had a lot of work experience, but she had barely set foot in a bakery. Her idea was to start a simple patisserie where everyone was welcome.
Today the patisserie has branched out to several location but is still a true Stockholm institution
The patisserie serves amazing cakes and pastries signed by master pastry chef Johan Sandelin.
Here custom built cake refrigerators and displays can be found beautifully framed in brass with marble interior. All custom made by Haglund Industri.
