Sturehof, Stockholm
Sturehof is a modern meeting place in central Stockholm which opened in 1887. A brasserie with Swedish influences, home-produced ingredients and a lively cultural scene.
Since the 90’s this Stockholm institution has been owned/operated by PG Nilsson and Svenska Brasserier.
Sturehof is known for its seafood and luxurious seafood platters and many guests also participate in the yearly crayfish parties hosted by the establishment.
Sturehof also has a food market where one can buy delicacies like fresh fish, cheese, meat, vegetables or why not one of Sturehof’s easy to prepare dinner kits to be enjoyed at home.
The food market and restaurant both have custom displays from Haglund Industri. All displays have been designed in collaboration with the famous Swedish interior architect/designer Jonas Bohlin and finished in dark gray or stainless with custom made handles in stainless steel and brass. On the walls beside some of the wine displays one can also paintings of fish and other sea life by renowned Swedish artist Ernst Billgren.
