Freyja is the name of Stureplansgruppen's newest restaurant, which is housed on a 1.100 square meter newly built floor at the top of Hornsgatan 18.
The restaurant, with room for 90 seated guests, was designed by the renowned Gert Wingårdh's architects and uses light wood and burgundy as a base color.
At Freyja, they start from Swedish produce and work based on what the seasons have to offer to the greatest extent possible, both in terms of food and drinks.
The roof terrace have a hard to beat view of Riddarfjärden, Södermalm, Djurgården and, yes, all of Stockholm.
The photos show custom-made wine display with shelves of glass that give the bottles in the display an almost floating feeling. The wine displays also have glassed back and siding which gives an open airy feel and allows you to see into the open kitchen from the dining room and vice versa. The displays are made in a grey-black finish with hand-made brass details and specially adapted LED lighting.
