Hotell Billingehus was completed in 1970 and was the result of local entrepreneur Arne Sandberg and his wife Maja's vision to create a Skövde destination worthy of the name. With hiking trails, ski slopes and bathhouses around the corner, there was a desire to create an active area that combined rest and fun with health and exercise. Now a new era has started and after an extensive renovation, Billingehus is once again ready to receive local residents as well as long-distance travelers.
The restaurant Sandberg's dining room serves well-prepared, classic food with carefully selected food products with inspiration that is rooted in the food culture of the Västgötaslätten and follows the pantry that the seasons have to offer. At Bar Arne you can sit down for a cocktail, beer or wine and enjoy the magnificent view of the Västgötaslätten and the wine displays clad in brass and allowed to age naturally. At Bistro Uno you can also find a bistro menu with lighter dishes.
Here you will find a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerated counters, bar counters, wine displays in both the lobby bar areas, everything supplied by Haglund Industri and individually adapted to suit the beautiful environments in the restaurants and bars at Billingehus.
